My dear friend Alexa decided to have an incredibly unique "Vino & Paint" party for her 23rd birthday. I've heard of the concept before, but never thought about how much more fun it would be to have it at a house instead of a painting venue.
I had been sick the whole entire week and didn't think I was going to be able to make it down. However, after a brief text conversation with Alexa, I decided to suck it up and head down for the party. I'm so glad I did...it was an absolute blast!

The painting area was adorable spring themed. Each girl had her own easel and personal painting area. The table was decorated with candles, flowers, and mason jars of water for dipping our brushes.
What's a party without sweets? Besides delicious chicken pasta, fresh salad, and garlic bread, we were treated to homemade cake pops, cupcakes, and brownies, which we snacked on while painting.
Alexa made these adorable wine glasses out of chalkboard paint...how cute are these? We each had one with our name on it to enjoy our drink of choice in throughout the night.
Our project for the night was making monogrammed paintings for our rooms. The canvasses were already prepared with our letters which was so convenient. I've never been much of a painter, but I had a blast. It got dark by the time we had finished eating, so the dim candlelight and the neighbors' porch light set the mood!
